Cairns Golf Club has several different Membership options with the full details show below.
We offer a rolling style of membership for all categories meaning that if you join today, your renewal date will be in 12 months from today. A $500 joining fee applies for certain categories, with $250 credited to your House Account. New applicants for these categories may be placed on a Membership Waiting List, during which you’ll receive a Social Membership with member benefits. We also offer payment plans that are spread out over your membership year.
All Membership categories below include all Affiliation fees and include GST.
When you submit your online sign-up application, a team member will contact you during office hours to finalise your membership. Your membership will only be active once this process is complete.

7 Day Membership
By far our most popular membership which enables UNLIMITED Social play for 12 months, every day of the week subject to major competitions and Corporate Days.

5 Day Membership
5 Day Membership provides playing access from Monday to Friday only, subject to Club programming, event bookings, course availability and conditions of play. Members may also play on Sundays as a Green Fee player but are not eligible to participate in Honour Board events.

Available for players aged 18 to 23 years old only, Intermediate Membership is designed to attract younger players with all the benefits of full 7 Day Membership, but a greatly discounted price.

Novice Women Membership
This category of Membership is specially designed for Women who have completed our Ladies Get into Golf Programs. It allow Women to get out on the course at their leisure without the pressure of having to play Competition Golf.

Novice Women Membership Criteria
Not permitted to play in club weekly competitions.
Limited to 2 years in this category as this is a designated pathway to Club Membership.
Must have completed Get Into Golf at Cairns Golf Club and have not held a GA handicap at any club in the previous 5 years.
Junior Membership
Allows players under the age of 18 to play unlimited social golf with the benefit of having a Golf Australia Handicap for use in all competition play.

Sub Junior Membership applies to beginner/intermediate Under 15 year old golfers who are not yet ready to gain Golf Australia 18 Hole Handicap for competition play.

Membership card for Discount rates Driving Range Balls, Beverages and Golf Shop purchases
Enables a 3, 6 or 9 hole Handicap to be utilised for use in Junior Competition events.

Ability to upgrade to Junior Membership to gain a Golf Australia Handicap (18 Hole) when player ability permits.
Unlimited Cart Usage
Unlimited Cart Usage Membership Information - $1090 inc GST
Unlimited Cart Usage (UCU) option is available to all Members (18+ years) for a period of 12 months from date of joining.
UCU provides the Member one seat in a “shared” cart and is available for both social and competition play.
UCU is available for use every day of the week for any number of holes played.
Please note UCU does not provide sole use of a 2 x seat cart.
UCU is to be used by one designated person only.
Additional riders in same cart are required to pay the appropriate fee.
Misuse of the UCU cart privileges may result in the suspension and/or forfeiture of any prepaid funds.
