Cairns Golf Club

Cairns Golf Club proudly hosts two major amateur golf tournaments each year, attracting vistors from interstate and overseas.

The City of Cairns Amateur Golf Week is held the first week of August.

• Sunday 18 hole 4BBB medley
• Monday & Tuesday 36 hole Women's Classic
• Wednesday 18 hole Men's Allsporters
• Friday Saturday Sunday 54 hole Men's Classic

Cairns Golf Club hosts a 36 hole tournament normally held mid May on a Saturday & Sunday. This event is open to men, women and juniors. Prizes are awarded in all grades for both gross and nett scores. With generous sponsorship, this event attracts visitors from throughout the region.

2006 sees a new sponsor for this event, The Good Guys. With over $4000 in prizes, this event will be hotly contested by the district's best golfers in all grades.

Entry forms for both tournaments will be available online one month prior to each event.
