The Cairns Golf Club is the oldest golf course in Cairns (established in 1923) and is the most conveniently located golf course to the city - only a few minutes from the centre of Cairns.

We have a very picturesque setting with our 18 hole championship quality course set amongst tropical surrounds and spectacular mountain backdrops.

Cairns Golf Club is a 6,159 metre par 72 for men and 5,582 metre par 73 for women.
The course layout was re-designed by Ross Watson and is a testing golf course for players and yet at the same time very enjoyable with natures' best fauna & flora.
Visitors will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere that typifies the tropical environment that Cairns has to offer. The lush fairways, demanding greens & varieties of waterways that make up our course combine to create a memorable golfing experience - whether you are a visitor from Australia or oversees.

Our quality golf course has been host to many events, including the inaugural Cairns Classic golf tournament - which was a key event in the Von Nida professional golf tour. The Von Nida tour included Australia's best - like Wayne Grady, Kurt Barnes, Peter Senior (pictured), and Kim Felton who set a new course record of 62.
